During the Liturgy, in honor of Philippine Duchesne, at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, St. Charles, Missouri a statue of Saint Philippine Duchesne was blessed by Archbishop Raymond Burke. The Statue was commissioned by U.S. Attorney Cahterine Hanaway while she was Speaker of the Missouri House. Catherine was the first woman speaker of the Missouri House. Sabra Tull Meyer is the sculptress. The statue will be placed in the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City, Mo. where other statues reside of distinguished people of Missouri.
