We live much more under secular supervision than of old; it is unavoidable if we want to do our work for children: all the more necessary then to strengthen ourselves in truth, in personal humility, in independence of the world, in the tendency to hiddenness which is characteristic of God's work in the universe.

The Network of Sacred Heart Schools received a prayer for Mater's Feast from the Religious of the Sacred Heart at the Trinita Dei Monti in Italy. The Trinita is site of the fresco of Mater.

Lower School Head for a Day - Stuart Country Day Print E-mail

October 11, 2005 – The Lower School at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart enjoyed a change of pace last week when third grader Susannah Marttila of Princeton acted as Head of the Lower School.  A gift from her parents who bid for the opportunity at Stuart’s annual fundraising auction last spring, Susannah got to make a variety of decisions pertaining to Lower School activities for the day.
