Communications Area for the Academy of the Sacred Heart (the Rosary), New Orleans Print E-mail

Society Urges Two-pronged Hurricane Relief Effort Print E-mail

The Society of the Sacred Heart, U.S. Province, in concert with the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, is urging friends and members of the Sacred Heart family to join them in a two-pronged hurricane relief effort to assist in the transition of students from Academy of the Sacred Heart (“the Rosary) in New Orleans and to help the thousands of people left homeless and jobless in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Sister Kathleen Conan, provincial of the U.S. Province reports on how the Academy of the Sacred Heart (the Rosary) and the RSCJ in New Orleans are doing in the wake of Hurricane Katrina

Sister Kathleen Conan, provincial of the U.S. Province reports that RSCJ living in areas affected by hurricane Katrina are safe. Most of the sisters left New Orleans as the hurricane approached and are staying with RSCJ communities in Grand Coteau , Louisiana . Sister Lorraine Landry remained with her family in New Orleans.
