Villa Duchesne seeks English/Journalism Teacher Print E-mail

Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School, St. Louis, MO seeks a full-time English/Journalism teacher for the 2008-2009 school year.


Duties will include the preparation and instruction of two publication courses (newspaper and yearbook) as well as two sections of tenth grade world literature (one section is an honors course).     


A master’s degree in English or journalism and teaching certification are preferred.  The successful candidate will be dynamic, organized, and well prepared to lead the school’s newspaper and yearbook, both of which have won local and state honors and must have a strong background in expository writing and be willing to work one-on-one in composition program.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
