Villa Duchesne/Oak Hill School seeks a full-time biology teacher and department chair for the 2008-2009 school year. Teaching duties will include preparation and instruction of AP and general biology. Department leadership duties will include participation in the hiring, coaching, and evaluation process for department members to insure the highest level of middle and secondary science programs.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of successful department leadership and a passion for preparing young women for jobs in the fields of science, math and technology. A master’s degree in biology is required as well as experience teaching physics and/or chemistry.   Administrative experience is also preferred. Certification is preferred, but prior teaching experience may be considered.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
