Stone Ridge seels Director of Communications |

General purpose: To promote the mission of Stone Ridge School of the
Sacred Heart through its publications and communications to all
constituencies and the general public. Responsible for coordinating
communications so that Stone Ridge speaks with one voice and
effectively engages both potential constituencies and current
constituencies for broader support of the mission of the school.
Position responsibilities:
• Working in conjunction with the advancement and admissions offices
responsible for the communications strategy and execution of all
creative materials that support Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart
• Part of a team that leads all school branding and marketing research and development
• Liaison to all school parties for messaging, brand use and logo usage
• Develop, write and edit bi-annual Alumnae magazine
• Write and edit recruitment materials to raise the visibility of Stone Ridge for advancement efforts and admissions efforts
• Oversee departmental production of other all-school publications both electronic and print materials
• Development of planned media releases in accordance with special events or interest
• Contact for media inquiries
• Foster personal relationships with local media
• Serve as member of the administrative team
• Other duties as assigned

Essential skills and experience
• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of communications or marketing experience
• Familiarity with print production process from conception to printing and distribution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and editing skills
• Ability to work collegially and effectively as part of the
administration team and with all constituencies of a Catholic, Sacred
Heart community
