Sacred Heart 91st Street in Manhattan seeks a Human Resources Manger to administer all school HR policies and procedures. The position reports to the Chief Adminsitrative Officer. Responsibilities include creating and revising all HR forms and hire documents; maintaining all personnel and benefits files; monitoring performance evaluations and training supervisors in the process; recruiting new employees, checking references, and performing background checks; provide orientation and other training for new and existing faculty and staff; counsel employees on employment and benefits-related matters; revise Employee Handbook and other school policies; prepare job descriptions for all existing positions, administer LOA; and such other duties as the CAO may assign.
Candidates should have a BA degree and 5-10 years experience in HR at a non-profit organization or, preferably, an independent school.
