SPROUT CREEK CONSERVATION CORPS. (SCCC) – POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.

Boys: Grades 7th and 8th
$360 plus cost of transportation
Campers will live in a community similar to camps of the Civilian Conservation Corp. during the Great Depression. During the day, campers will leave the farm to ‘work’ for local environmental organizations. Opportunities for guided reflection will be provided following service experiences. While in camp, basic needs will be met through the efforts of program participants with the counselors acting as supervisors/facilitators. Necessary skills will be taught on the first day and honed by continued use throughout the week.
