SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL    July 28 – Aug. 5
Seattle, Washington                                                                                                                           Open to current 9th-11th grade female students         Limited to 12 students (6 from the U.S. and 6 from Japan)$180 plus cost of transportationThis service project offers you the opportunity to experience first hand the international nature of Schools of the Sacred Heart when you live and work in community, serving the elderly, and marginalized of many nationalities in the greater Seattle area.  Students interested in this project should be open to learning about another culture and have an appreciation for diversity.  Reflection is a key element of this project.  You will be involved with many agencies in the area as well as serving the homeless and marginalized.  You will be discussing how your culture respects and serves the needs of the elderly, poor, and marginalized populations.  One of the riches of this program is the cultural diversity that is reflected upon, as well as experienced.
